HOSPITAL CARE

We offer hospitalisation to our patients whose physical state or treatment requires it. Since they are good at hiding their symptoms, they frequently arrive at our clinic in a very bad condition. In case of inappetence their feeding and medication at home can prove very difficult for most owners. In each of these cases it is safer to leave the birds in our hospital care, because lack of fluids and energy, inadequately given medications can cause a rapid deterioration in the condition of the bird. During hospitalisation we have the opportunity to stabilise them as quickly as possible, with fluid therapy and force feeding, while performing every diagnostic examination necessary. Hospital care and close observation might be necessary after high risk surgical interventions as well. When admitting a patient to our hospital the owners get detailed information about how the hospital works, including visitation times and phone calls with the doctors.
