TREATMENT OF URINARY PROBLEMS

In guinea pigs urinary diseases are very common. They can cause general symptoms like many other illnesses, such as inappetence and lethargy. We can see straining/vocalisation during urination or defecation, the urine can contain blood as well. Some amount of visible sediment or a reddish colored pigment (porphyrin) can be normal.
